Sausage Alfredo

Quick and easy from a magazine, and everyone loved it.  WINNER!!  Sorry, no picture.

1 pkg. smoked sausage (kilbasa)
8 oz. pasta, cooked and drained (like mostaccioli)
2 c. heavy cream
2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
1/2 c. grated Parmesan
veggies (optional)

Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

Saute sausage for 5 minutes.  Add cream and seasoning and boil.  Reduce heat; simmer 3-4 minutes or until it begins to thicken.  Stir in cheese, then add pasta and toss.

*If you want to add some veggies, make sure they're already cooked (if frozen), stir them in and simmer.  We added green onions, tomatoes and shredded carrots.  Another recommendation was peas.
